Subject: | Flocking magpie larks |

Yesterday while driving towards Guildford I saw 30+ magpie larks sitting together on the telephone lines, as well as many flying away from that spot. This is the first time I have ever seen magpie larks flock like this. How common is this behaviour and why do they do it?
