That pair of Barking Owls in Perth than I mentioned
certainly get the backyard tick for me.
They started out in my parent's backyard screaming
and I thought they were bats or something. After a chase around the
neighbourhood I discovered them sitting on a tv aerial. Those BIG yellow
eyes and striations on the chest certainly weren't Boobook owl.
