Good ideas. Thanks for putting this into context.
Although I always fancied it would be nice to see,
among land birds: a Harpy Eagle (though not much chance of me ever getting
outside Australia) and among sea birds: Cape Petrel (just because they look
nice, I've got that one now, Tasmania June 2003).
