I saw one at the Brisbane City
Council’s Hawkesbury Rd Reserve close to the southern boundary of Toohey Forest
in August 2001. I was told at the time that they had been recorded in Toohey Forest.

Speckled Warbler
I've never seen a Speckled Warbler that close to the coast before, but
they're not so uncommon in the Brisbane
region as I used to think. I've now seen them several times in
Pullenvale. After seeing them there, I'd not be surprised if they turned
up in places like Mt Coot-tha or Toohey
Forest (not that I've
seen them there yet, but the habitat is right).
