I've never seen a Speckled Warbler that close to the coast before, but they're not so uncommon in the Brisbane region as I used to think.  I've now seen them several times in Pullenvale.  After seeing them there, I'd not be surprised if they turned up in places like Mt Coot-tha or Toohey Forest (not that I've seen them there yet, but the habitat is right).
