Evan, Yes, wind turbines do kill birds.

The birds do not hit the wind turbine, the birds are hit by the moving
blades when flying past. At Norway's largest wind park 11 White-tailed Eagle
have so far meet their fate, and that is only birds that have been found.
There is a lot of controversy surrounding the actual numbers of birds that
are killed each year by wind turbines. However there is an e-mail group on
Yahoo. If you join, then you can take a look at what has been said in the
