Yesterday's copy of WILD magazine has a sizeable article by my old
bushwalking mate John Poppins reviewing 10 current GPS from a
bushwalking point of view. He makes the essential point that Australia
has TWO different datum sources depending on the date of your map (I
believe that someone re-established Sydney Observatory, so that some of
the maps now have a gap between them - or perhaps an overlap, but I
haven't seen that yet).
