Hi all, I've hijacked Peter's email to ask a quick query regarding 
Lathams Snipe:

Have they been sighted this season in Australia? and any sightings in 
the Hunter Valley, NSW?

I will be meeting some students from Kushiro Nishi High School tomorrow 
(the school is located in Kushiro, Hokkaido, the breeding grounds for 
Lathams Snipe, and is are twinned with Callaghan College here at 
Newcastle), and they are sure to want to know something about the snipe!
