ETA for Lathams Snipe?

G'day All,

Can't help wondering why Channel-bills, Koels etc seem to arrive in the
southern 'states before SE Qld (still haven't had a CBCU yet!) 

My first Latham's Snipe records for this season were as posted: Four  at Samford Lagoon (20 kms NW of Brisbane CBD) on 13 August 2005
