Per Mike Tarburton's posting from PNG, any news of Koels moving? On my walk (for exercise) this morning, I saw at least 2 pairs of Red Wattlebirds in breeding mode - one pair nest building and one pair copulating. If the Koels aren't quick the warm Sydney winter will have got the Wattebirds nesting early and messed up the Koels nest raiding strategy!
