I have just
had a report of a pair of Letter-winged Kites which have been hunting over the
fields at 383 Cryma Road, a km west of Beaudesert. The birds are reported
to hunt only at dawn and dusk which sounds right.
Since there
is a mouse plague there them may stay around for a while.
I was going
to go down today but there, has been have just had 50 mm of rain and the place
is waterlogged.
