Hi all,

I spent this evening at Wombelano Falls in Kinglake National Park, north-east of Melbourne . Highlights included a Bassian Thrush foraging quitely in the undergrowth, Crescent Honeyeater calling in Messamate, a female Rose Robin feeding high in the canopy, an Olive-backed Oriole and a male Peregrine Falcon. I also heard a Satin Flycatcher and Superb Lyrebird lower down in the wet gully. On the road to the falls (Captains Creek Road) a small flock of Yellow-tailed Black-cockatoos were feeding in pine trees while a Wedge-tailed Eagle soared overhead.
