The sound of Rainbow Lorikeets roosting in the evening grates on my nerves.  That's possibly biased due to my dislike of Rainbow Loris (I'm sure they're nice enough, but here in Perth they're nothing but a pest that no-one can do anything about because so many people say "You can't cull them they're pretty!"  I reckon our south-west endemic red-capped parrot is prettier, and it has a much more pleasant call.
