Carotenoids, which are one of the biochrome pigments, will produce certain blues, as well as greens, yellow, oranges and reds. After having at last examined the photo and taking on board the descriptions which the guys have given, believe that the colour band is of biochrome origin. I think you're onto something with this one guys. Ricki |
