I hear a White-throated Nightjar nearly everynight, there are so many insects around for it. I heard a call like a screaming lady the other night as I really thought a Powerful Owl made that call? I was so worried about my Brushtail Possum that I released some weeks ago, as I couldn't see him earlier that night. I did spot him the night after. I usually see him everynight in the tree I have his box in. Would it have been a Yellow-Bellied Glider you heard? They have a screamy gabbling call?? You don't always see them, you can hear them as they glide they have very large claws and you can hear them when they land on another tree. Marian |
