Wouldn't it be a Powerful Owl doing a screaming woman call?? I heard one the other night here, I am sure it was a Powerful Owl. The cricket like call would be a juvenile Southern Boobook??? Possums don't make a "chirp" sound. A Sugar Glider has a "Yap, Yap" call like a small dog. Brushtails can make a soft screaching only when threatened by another possum??
