I've just looked up Alec Chisholm's list of Australian mimicking
birds, as rendered in 'The Lyrebird - a natural history' (Pauline
Reilly, 1988): allowing for 'lumping' and 'splitting', her list
nevertheless 'includes all Chishom's mimicking species and others
that appear in the literature'.
And - it doesn't include the Spangled Drongo! -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Judith Lukin-Amundsen S-E Qld ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
