Gidday Birders, I have recently realised that I have seen very few Bee eaters over the last few years and am wondering if anyone else has noticed a decline? I have to note that I haven't been to my regular spots to see these birds, but they do have a tendency to turn up just about anywhere. Any comments appreciated. Also, while I was thinking about this I heard Mike Archer (formerly of the Aust. Museum, now UNSW) talking about sparrow declines and the possible link with fuel additives. See the link below for a bit more detail. Could these be related?? http://www.rense.com/general3/mtbess.htm Cheers Graham Turner -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
