Dear All
Sorry to return to this topic, for I know it has been well-covered in
the last year or so. But it is also true that it changes fast. So a
few questions:
I already have a swarovski 80mm scope (angled view, HD) and am
finally taking the plunge into digital, having muttered about this on
and off for some time. so a few questions:
1. Is the Nikon Coolpix line (and especially the 4500) still the
recommended digital camera to buy.
2. Is it regarded as strongly advisable to buy a fixed power eyepiece
for the camera (I have the zoom only).
3, Is there anywhere in Australia that sells the EagleEye adaptor
(and is this still the only or recommended commericially made
adaptor?). If not, is there a recommended offshore supplier? (Russell
I realise that replies to the list might somewhat controvene the "no
commerical use" policy for this list, but I hope you will forgive
this exception, as I am confident I am not the only one thinking of
the shift to digital).
If anyone on the list sells adaptor and is shy about posting to the
list, do not be shy about e-mailing me direct.
