I'm late into the thread but I have also noticed a decline in sighting s of
Forest Kingfisher up here on the Blackall Range.I haven't checked my 8 yrs
of monthly records but I know I used to record them regularly ,and I can't
remember the last time I saw one here.I think that my sightings of Sacred
Kingfisher have also declined. There has not been any significant habitat
alteration over this time.
