I would like to be kept in touch about this one, off this
list as well as on.

Issues include:

Stormwater management plans (local council, Melbourne Water,
the local water company - who may have good environmental
staff). Issues are not just about "site planning" but also
"water management", like managing the variations in water
levels necessary for ecosystem functioning.

The Urban Land Corporations link with
destruction/"development" at sites like the old Williamstown
rifle range and the Epsom Race track in Kingston which have
done far too little for very important ecosystems and taxa
including the Grey-crowned Babbler.

The Unions - did a good job over the Merri (or was it
Gardiners?) Creek growling grass frogs (when Bracks and co.
were desperate to build power stations to fuel air
conditioners and global warming).
