Nankeen Night Herons still roost along the Onkaparinga River in Old Noarlunga. The last time I saw them was a couple of months ago on a sunny Sunday afternoon. They were roosting high up in the trees in the reserve on the river in Old Noarlunga, oblivious to the families enjoying BBQ's in the Reserve.
