G'day Alex,

I've got a magpie lark indoors at present with one leg missing and thee other busted? appears to be busted? might be a dislocated hip? hard to tell as any rehabber would agree, but when I first got it, it was trying hard to stand up? could easily see the underneath when it was attempting to stand ...

"Today I observed a Curlew sandpiper on the beach at Point Cook with one leg missing and the other leg broken at the first joint. On the broken leg was an
orange flag."

Please explain how was it that she saw it? flying? floating? in a little wheel
chair?

Don't be silly young lad the battery's would cost to much ....

I just very curious because looks like she finds mutilated birds every day.

So if you can explain how she found this "one legged bird" with a broken leg and a flag? (and not standing?) don't you agree that is a very strange thing?

I may be wrong, but I think she is lying.

Kind Regard
Alex Farias

At no stage did Kym say the bird was standing.
This doesn't mean I agree with what she says, just that I think we should be fair.

I AGREE ....
