No doubt I'm a left-wing dill, but I'd expect someone who seems to have
lost most of the $15 million invested in the public float of his company
in less than two years would be contrite. The SMH article doesn't give
this impression.
If there is anyone who believes there is only a single approach to
conservation, it is John Walmsley. ESL even said this in their advertising:
"If you not part of the solution, you are the problem"
ESL's 1999 attempts to pressure Bob Debus (NSW Government minister)
to support their Blue Mountains plan were outrageous - if they weren't
outright illegal, they certainly weren't the way successful companies
do business.
