g'Day birders There were at least five Painted Snipe, at the Salisbury North, Kaurna wetlands this afternoon. The birds are frequenting the drying channels within the central western section of the wetlands and are dispersed singly or in pairs along the margins. Only two females were counted on Monday when five Painted Snipe were seen at the south-western swamp area, but today there were three females in the area so it's likely there are more than five birds present.
