Hi, I have a stand-alone windows program that does conversions between lat/long and UTM. It works in both AMG and WGS84 grid references, converting from one to the other and then displaying the results as lat/long & UTM. It was developed for some mapping work we do in our company, it has since been used by some external people as well. If any one is interested let me know and I can send it to them. Also if any one has a need for batch processing I could write a program to handle that based on the functions already written. The formuli and related data used was found on various web sites including - http://www.auslig.gov.au/geodesy/datums/calcs.htm Regards, Graham -- Graham Cheetham Townsville, Australia Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
