Chris makes a valid remark:- "Judging by the number seen while birding I think that there are a lot more foxes now than before the gun ban ". At Pring Railway Station just North of Bowen Qld. we have 4 foxes that have made the station yard and environs their home. Plenty of people are willing to see them ventilated but are not willing to carry out the task due to them breaching Federal and State Gun laws. Foxes are reported regularly from the Kings Beach Creek area. The area favoured as a nesting location for one of our rare and endangered species. There seems to be little action from the powers that be to control the situation!
