Hi Ian, Denise, Steve, etc. It was that kind of thinking which started me on creating the 'Directory of Australian Birdwatching' and the listing of bird-orientated accommodations. If you think it's difficult for you finding accommodation, consider the independent traveller from Overseas. He has just no idea where to go and stay. So the Directory has a lot to offer, as virtually all good places are listed. If you haven't heard of the Directory please check it out at: http://www.ausbird.com And Denise is totally right, there aren't that many places around; NT, SA, Vic and WA seem to be the worst with virtually no places for birdos to stay. Very disappointing! All the best, Klaus P.S. Denise, Eden at Fogg Dam are considering joining the Directory. |
