As I suspected. By any chance did they cannon net it? (Sorry) >On March 15th the Stinson Beach sandplover was briefly captured, >measured, and released unharmed. Almost all measures, along with various >ratios and combinations of measures confirm the bird to be a Greater >Sandplover, most likely of the nominate subspecies.
