The latest news from Cedar Hill Drive - a Little Bittern has been seen there today, and a Spotless Crake.  As well as the birds previously advised by Richard Baxter and confirmed by Allan Benson.  And, Lathams Snipe are everywhere there.  Drying wetlands are great!

Also, a Pectoral Sandpiper on Ash Island, near Newcastle, with a flock of Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, seen by several people.  And I found a Spotless Crake today at the Wetlands Centre in Shortland.
