Just to reinforce Reg's comments. The manager of Mt Lyndhurst has no
problems with people birdwatching on the property as long as he receives
prior advice. Shooting is carried out on the property and if he knows you
are there, employees can be forewarned. He is extremely concerned about "
the accident waiting to happen". So please - do the right thing and keep
him onside. He is also trying to establish his own visitor facilities. His
name is Frank and the phone number for Mount Lyndhurst homestead is 08
86757796 and the fax number is 08 86757771.
The Management at Clayton Station are Shane and Debbie Oldfield and the
phone number is 08 86758311. There are extensive wetlands upon the property
which they are proud of and justly so.They are conservation minded and
pleased to have birding visitors (forewarned of course).
