Without being able to put a precise time limit on it, it is likely that it
will be at least a year before the reserve will be open to the general
public.  It is possible that there will be some supervised access by
interested groups earlier.  When it is open it is also likely (as with
Gluepot) that there will be guidelines on access and restrictions on some
areas and some activities.  I would suggest that you look at what we are
doing with Gluepot Reserve as the best indicator of what we will be doing
with Newhaven; anyone interested can check out the Gluepot website (thanks,
Peter, for a great site) accessible through a link from the BA website
(address below).
