OK I stand corrected about Blackbirds taking up residence in some areas of
se Australiam well away from urban areas.
However I have never seen a Blackbird in any area of undisturbed Wet Forest
in se Australia, and note that Carol Proberts points out that in the Blue
Mountains it is doubtful if they inhabit such habitats.
The reference to Barrington Tops is worrying, if they learn to get into
Rainforest then they'll be everywhere up to se Queensland and beyond.
However this might point to an important point, Rainforest might support
them, but it might be that Wet Forest in its undisturbed state is not
suitable for them.
