Well Terry, I can only state again that people are asking permission and are being refused. I received yet another example today about Clifton Hills refusing entry to a polite request.
Maybe you've been lucky up until now?  Or maybe it's your dulcet tones that do the trick.

place and I very much doubt they would be refused entry if they could show
