I was intrigued last winter when a Rose Robin sat outside on a small bush close to my bedroom window calling continuously at it's reflection in the window. It only did this when I drew the vertical blinds back. In the end I closed the blinds across the window because it would have sat there for hours calling at what it thought was another Robin. As soon as the blinds were drawn it went away. It would come back the next day and the whole process repeated. I have also had Grey-crowned Babblers at the same window tapping at their reflection.
