When I was at New Laura, in Lakefield NP, there were 2 GCBabblers
which used to spend a fair portion of the mornings staring at and
interacting with their own reflections in rear vision mirrors in cars.
I always wondered whether they had been rejected by their peers as a
bit weird and so sought solace in the company of the "phantom"
babblers that they decided must live inside my Toyota Hilux.

I got a bit of amusement out of it, but if I left the windows open
they would use the rear vision mirror inside the car and then crap on
the seats which I was less happy about!
