We have a Spotted Pardalote (I don't know whether its the same one year
after year, but this has been happening for six years now) who comes around
at about this time and spends several days flying at his reflection in one
particular window. Unfortunately it's too high up to do anything about
covering it safely, so we just have to watch him wasting his strength.
However after a few days the usual pattern is for him to get bored, and to
fly away.
Also at about this time of year our resident Peewees come and attack one
particular window in tandem, usually at the same time of day, for about a
month. Shooing them away is a duty at this time of year.
