Thats a great record Chris and is most likely a wild bird. A few years ago, somebody did see 3 Immature birds at McGraths Hill (about 55km west of Sydney) after very strong westerly winds. Such fairly light Parrots can be blown further afield. The furthest east I have seen them is between Bathurst and Cowra. cheers! Edwin |
