Hi Alan On the way back from the CBOC field trip to Capertee Valley yesterday (22/7/00) at about 4:30 pm, on the Mudgee Rd (location 33 08 28 / 150 05 58) about 1km north of the intersection with Great Western Highway, I saw a pair of Superb Parrots. This seems a long way east of their normal the range. The valley produced a modest 57 species, including 8 Regent Honeyeaters at Port Maquarie Rd and a pair of Barking Owls behind Glen Alice Church.
