Mynas- I have anecdotal evidence from the Gold Coast that Dollarbirds do not evict mynas, but are evicted from them. Further, there seems to be some thought that cavity nesting birds which re-inhabit old Mynas nest cavities suffer the loss of young at the hands of a parasite which the mynas leave behind. If this is so, then Mynas might have a significant impact at relatively low densities. Anyone have any information on this?
