Regarding the "Golden-mantled form" of the Eastern Rosella, I have seen
those as far south as Gloucester in NSW (about 100 km north-west of
Newcastle). I have seen them on 2 visits there and saw a few on my last trip
there last October. Their golden-mantles is quite noticeable to the
"Green-mantled ones" I saw with them.

Another bird that seems different around Gloucester, to most of the southern
birds, are the Eastern Yellow Robins. Some have a more yellowish rump rather
than olive in the Southern Forms.
