Hi All,

By this I will kindly request for informations about the
Eastern Rosella ( Platycercus eximius ).

On my visits to Australia I had seen Eastern Rosellas
of different colours.

Example, some Eastern Rosellas had a red line from
the red upper breast down at the yellow lower breast.

And some had very much yellow mantle, and I was told
that these birds are called : Golden-mantled Rosella.

But are there different races of the Eastern Rosella ?

And in that case, what are the differences between the
races ?

And what is their distribution ranges ?

And are there " hybrid " between the races ?

I thanks you in advance for the informations about
the Eastern Rosella.

You are most welcome to contact me directly.

Best wishes from Denmark, Peter
