I've found my web page to be a handy way of picking up some sponsors AFTER the
event. They can see roughly what we did, that they're backing someone who has
actually gone out and done something, and get an idea of where the money will
go. I think I've picked up almost as many afterwards as I had before (about
4-5). My individual fundraising is not spectacular (maybe $150), but my team
of 5 will raise in total maybe $600-700. That's not to be sneezed at, though
small beer compared to the really successful fundraisers (Margaret Cameron is
the serial champion in this area in Victoria).
