Hi Max,
hey, that's great news. The numbers of Barn Owls in my favorite spot in the
Tablelands (North Queensland near Cairns) have decreased in numbers. Maybe
some of the former owls have relocated. My highest numbers before were
about 9 owls, spread over about 10 km.
I remember someone mentioning, that Phil Maher had somewhere inland one
night heaps of Barn Owls turning up to sqeaking a cork on the windscreen of
his car. Otherwise I haven't heard of big flocks.
Still, it sounded great, so many on such a small area.
