Great Crested Grebes are by no means uncommon on the lagoons of the New
England Tablelands. There is a resident population of a few pairs at Little
Llangothlan Lagoon and they are very regular visitors to Dangars Lagoon and
Racecourse Lagoon, both near Uralla.
