Subject: Annual winter OBP count
Looking for a birding opportunity this weekend in Victoria?
I'll be part of the (volunteer) team heading off to French Island in
Western Port Bay (Ramsar site) looking for Orange-bellied Parrots (or
Trumped-up Corellas as the HANZAB gives as an alternative name!).
There are various other sites being checked across the coast of Victoria
and it's a great way to do a bit of winter birding. No doubt Birds
Australia (039 8822 622) can point you in the right direction.
Look forward to observers reports from their sites.
