Hi all
There apparently is some sort of revision of RAMSAR sites going on at the
moment. Someone passed on to me a form that originates from the City of
Greater Geelong. The form is for anyone who has any connection
with or interest in a current or potential RAMSAR site to submit their
info to the Council - or at least that's what it appears to be. I'm
intending to provide information on the Limeburners Lagoon area, assuming
they already have quite a bit on this. I've heard (unofficially) that this
may be added, in part to a neighbouring RAMSAR site.
If anyone has any more info about what's going on I'd be pleased to hear
it, either via this forum or by private email. Perhaps the Geelong
members of birding-aus may know more than I do already?
Thanks
Russell
PS I've tidied up the Birding-Aus web site (address is in my .sig below)
and would be interested in comments - a lot more changes are in the
pipeline, as I'm teaching a graphics course at the moment (don't laugh!)
and I get to play with Canvas & Photoshop a lot. I'm mainly after CONTENT
and FEATURES ideas. We may also see the site moving to one of those free
hosting places, where I hope my online subscription to the mailing list
will work (majordomo doesn't liike the forms.cgi that I'm using)
bye
