A friend with no computer access has asked me if birding-aus members
could help him with his forthcoming trip as follows:-

"My wife and I are leaving in April for an outback birdwatching trip
across Australia from Byron Bay on the east coast to Steep Point on the
west coast near Shark Bay for 5-6 months. Enroute we will visit the
following places:

via the Strzelecki Track, Marree, Oodnadatta, Ayres Rock, Warburton,
Leonora, Wiluna, Mount Magnet, Geraldton, Houtman Abrollos Islands,
Meekatharra, Newman, The Pilbara, Port Headland, Broome, Derby, Gibb
River Road, Kunanurra, Halls Creek, the Tanami Desert to Alice Springs.
Across the Simpson Desert via the Plenty Highway to Boulia, Mt. Isa,
then to Townsville via Flinders Highway and down the eastern seaboard
home to the Gold Coast in October l999.
