birding-aus Hi birders, I'm a great sceptic of the "regular" reports of papuan harriers that come from the Tablelands. So far, no-one has manged to circulate a description of one that even appreciates, much less dispenses with the problem of dark hooded young Spotted Harriers. Anyone who sees a pied harrier should take carefull note of features like wing barring, jizz, and other features as discussed in Hanzab.
