Dear Ausbirders I have just returned form a brief trip to South Australia and it occured to me that in seeing 4 Regent Parrots sitting in a tree in the middle of a vinyard (I had not been foraging in the vinyard myself) in Euston this was the first time I had observed the species in NSW. I checked the published range of the species and Euston was comfortably in range, however I have not encountered this bird over much of its range in S.E. Australia. Have I just missed something or is this significant to those who garner state lists?
